PROVERBS 11:30 The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life, And he who wins souls is wise.
One of the most important thing in a Christian life is WISDOM.
Today the above scripture gives us one of the ways to attain that wisdom is by winning souls for Christ. Christ is the Power and Wisdom of God
1 Cor 1:18 - 20 For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God. For it is written: "I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, And bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent."
Where is the wise? Where is the scribe? Where is the disputer of this age? Has not God made foolish the wisdom of this world?
For since, in the wisdom of God, the world through wisdom did not know God, it pleased God through the foolishness of the message preached to save those who believe.
Don't be quick to seek wisdom from books and forget the principal and the most basic way of being wise which is sharing Christ with the lost and blind in the world.
It's easy to start by where you are, your brothers and sisters, your neighborhood, workplace, market place etc.
You don't have any excuse for not sharing Christ. Let others taste and see how good and precious is the love of Christ. Don't be selfish/foolish as the bible puts it by keeping Christ to yourself.
Jesus in Isaiah 61 says the the spirit of the Lord is upon me, because the Lord anointed me to:
Preach the Good news
Proclaim Liberty and acceptable year of the Lord
To console the broken hearted
The world is eager to hear the Good news from you. I call you to be wise today. Identify someone or some people for the same spirit that resurrected Christ is upon you too. Take the step and allow the power of Christ within you to set the people free of their sins and you will be WISE.
CONCLUSION PRAYER
Father in Jesus name, I seek your grace as I share the gospel of salvation to those surrounding me. Father I know you sent your Son Jesus to die on the cross in order to save the world from sin. As I share the gospel to them may you soften their hearts and draw them to your self.
Cause me to bear fruits and fruits that will last all for your glory and honour of your name, in Jesus name I pray. Amen
